About Wordle Hint Today
This site exists because of a very specific moment: it's late, you're two guesses from losing a long streak, and every result you click gives away the whole answer in the first paragraph. We built the page we wished existed — hints stacked from gentlest to most revealing, with the answer kept firmly behind a click.
Why a ladder of hints?
Half the fun of Wordle is the moment it clicks. A good hint protects that moment instead of stealing it. So we start with the smallest possible nudge — how tough is it, roughly what's it about — and let you walk down one rung at a time. The dots beside each hint tell you how much it gives away before you open it.
Where the hints come from
- The mechanical facts — length, vowels, repeats, first and last letter — are computed directly from the solution, so they can't be wrong.
- The difficulty rating comes from a model that scores every answer on things like rare letters, repeated letters and common traps, calibrated against how real players actually did.
- The clue and definition are written by a person. That's deliberate: a good clue points sideways at the answer, and that's not something a formula does well.
Built to be fast
Every page here is plain, pre-rendered HTML — no app framework, no fonts to download, no spinner. That's also why the archive can hold every past puzzle without slowing anything down. And when a hint isn't quite enough, the solver on wordlesolver.pro will take your greens and yellows and do the rest.
The obligatory fine print
